You don’t have to watch what JavaBoys calls “the Weather News” to know that it is hot, hot, hot out there. This is a good week to check out some of the indoor activities on the Summer Fun Guide, but I thought I’d alert you to something the kids and I always look forward to — free slurpees! That’s a fun way to cool down when temperatures are in the hitting the top of the thermometer!
7-Eleven convenience stores were founded 83 years ago on July 11, and each year on their birthday stores give out free slurpees in specially sized 7.11 ounce cups.
