Concerts and Performances 2011

Arts in the Parks Free Summer Concert Series –
Saturdays 10:00 AM

Free children’s entertainment series concerts 10am on Saturdays in Fairfax County Parks including Ellanor C. Lawrence, Burke Lake, Lake Fairfax and Mason District.  Programs are cancelled in case of rain, so call the number for the park to check if weather is iffy.  JavaMom says: Come early as people parking and seats fill up fast.  Consider bringing towels or blankets to soften up hard amphitheater seats as well as to “reserve” space in case you need to get up or if you decide to sit on the grass instead.  Bring plenty of water for everyone and consider some snacks.  Great for all ages, even babies as it is a free and terrific way to teach even the youngest ones how to be audience members and it is okay to get up and walk away if you need to.  My kids have been going to these concerts since their very first summers!

Location:  Burke Lake Park Amphitheater 7115 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA 22039 703-323-6601
